Enrolments Now Open for Irish Traditional Music Classes

We're delighted to announce that enrolments are now open for Craobh Loch Gile's 2026–2027 programme of Irish traditional music classes.

Whether you're taking your very first lesson or continuing your musical journey, we offer a welcoming and supportive environment for children, teenagers and adults to learn and enjoy Irish traditional music.

Our experienced tutors provide tuition across a range of instruments, including fiddle, flute, tin whistle, button accordion, harp and concertina, with classes available for beginners through to more advanced players.

More Than Weekly Lessons

At Craobh Loch Gile, we believe learning Irish traditional music is about more than mastering an instrument. It's about developing musical skills, discovering a rich cultural tradition and enjoying the experience of making music with others.

Students also have the opportunity to take part in our free weekly Trad Music Session, where they can develop their playing, learn new tunes and experience the enjoyment of playing in a traditional session.

Instrument Rental Available

If you're new to traditional music, we also offer an instrument rental scheme on selected instruments, making it easier to begin learning without the expense of purchasing an instrument.
